Trail

The North Valley Friends Trail

The 1-mile paved path at North Valley Friends Church winds through oak woodland and open field, down into gullies and up again. Created in partnership with the Chehalem Park and Recreation District, it is open to the public and welcomes those who would stroll as well as those who run.

How can the North Valley Friends Trail help you?

While providing a place of solitude, we hope the trail will help you process struggles with yourself, with God, and with others. Perhaps it is a place you and your spouse or friend can work through difficulties. We pray the trail will be a place of peace, helping lead others into peace.

We also hope it will be a group educational experience, whether by using the labyrinth or other elements of peace we incorporate into the trail. To schedule a group, contact the North Valley Friends Church office.

Exercise Elements

The trail has a number of exercise elements constructed by a member of a Boy Scout Troop for use by the community. Please feel free to use these exercise elements (at your own risk). More information on their use will be available soon.

Partner Ministries

The North Valley Friends Trail is located in Newberg, OR. The trail is a gift from North Valley Friends Church in partnership with Chehalem Park & Recreation District and Veritas School. The exercise elements were created and are maintained by Boy Scout Troop #265.
