Education hour: 9:30-10:30am
Nursery-5th grade: During the summer we offer childcare at this time. During the school year children ages 4-5th grade can participate in Sunday school (no nursery care is provided).
Adults: We have an ongoing adult Sunday school class that follows the Adult Friend curriculum. Right now we also have a class on Friends & Gospel Order, led by Lynn Holt, studying this pamphlet. There is a women’s book study that meets at Chapter’s Books & Coffee at 9am and is currently studying Richard Rohr’s Everything Belongs. You are welcome to join any of these classes.
Unprogrammed Worship: Also during the education hour we have a time of traditional Friends worship. Friends come together to meet in silence to listen to the Spirit. People can break the silence with a verbal message, song, scripture reading or other expression as led.
Worship hour: 10:45-noon.
Nursery: Babies through age 3 each week
Age 4-Kindergarten: Children’s church each week
1st-3rd, 4th & 5th Grade: Children’s church each week except the third Sunday of each month, when we have Intergenerational worship. The kids are incorporated into the worship setting for Intergenerational Worship.
Third Sundays: Intergenerational worship. Kids 2nd grade and older are invited to participate in gathered worship, and the worship service will be geared toward interaction between people of different ages.
Fifth Sundays: Semi-programmed worship. When there is a fifth Sunday we will not have a prepared message. Instead, we will listen together in silence to what God has to say to each of us individually and corporately. Those who are led can stand and share a message with the gathered community.
