Looking for some friends to hang out with? Our middle school group includes kids from public, private, and home schools, grades 6-8. We laugh and talk a lot—and manage to learn something, too.

Sunday school - Sundays, 9:30-10:30am
Leslie Murray lead the middle school Sunday School class. They will meet in the library on Sundays from 9:30-10:30am using the Word Action curriculum. The themes for the fall are: The Bible, Creation, and Parables. The Middle Schoolers will also spend time checking in with each other. There are usually snacks provided!
Youth group - Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm
Middle School Youth Group will met at the Friends Center across from Newberg Friends Church on College and 2nd Avenue. The youth group will go through the "Let's be Friends" curriculum that explains about Quakers, our history and fun facts about Friends. Leslie Murray will take a van from North Valley (for those who are at the church for dinner) to the Friends Center at 6:20pm and will return to North Valley by 8:15pm.
Bible Quizzing:
If you'd like to study I and II Corinthians in-depth, contact Leslie for more information. Bible Quizzing includes a weekly study session and traveling to other churches in the Yearly Meeting four weekends between October and March, to quiz over the information we’ve learned.
Special activities - monthly
On average, once a month we have a special activity. May be with our group alone, with Newberg Friends Church, or with other Friends churches in the area.
