“Be Careful Lest the Light in You Be…” Luke 11:29-36

In Luke 11:29-36, Jesus confronts his listeners with their inability to understand his message. Their problem, he insists, is not that the message is unclear, but that their current ways of thinking will need to change before they can understand. The way forward is simple, but simple isn’t easy.

Query: Am I letting the message of Jesus shape my understanding of the world, or am I letting my understanding of the world reshape the message of Jesus?
