“The Big Fare Thee Well“ Luke 14:25-33

As Jesus draws closer to Jerusalem, his followers are joined by larger and larger crowds. We wonder what those crowds must have thought–and even what his closest followers must have thought–when Jesus described the demands of being a true disciple.

“Lord Jesus,… So now I will trust you. I give myself to you. I keep back no reserves…. I trust you utterly, and I trust you now.”
