“When Trouble Comes” Luke 12:1-21
When anxiety rises, do we try to fix it—or meet it with presence? In this reflection on Luke 12, we explore how Jesus’ words, often heard as warnings, may instead be invitations into deeper trust. Rather than fueling fear, Jesus points toward a gentle, compassionate presence that holds us in uncertainty. Through stories of Peter, the Pharisees, and our own restless hearts, we discover a different path: not control, but love. In the midst of life’s unfixable troubles, God is with us.
